I enjoyed this workshop greatly as it allowed me to think independently and uniquely throughout. Furthermore using many new techniques and materials which i wouldn't have previously considered to use in a collage such as mono-printing and batice, instead of the standard materials such as magazines and paint. This also allowed me to put my own style and interpretation on the work i had done before which incorporated the chance words i was given, support and corners. To incorporate these word aesthetically i used bald lines to represent support and sharp edges to create corners along with experimenting with layering. As a result of this, i would like to carry on with the idea of layering different materials to create collage throughout the project, however it is clear from this that i must refine my work in this style significantly.
